The room is in a house on S Washington St. & 2nd and it is available from January to August xxxx. The price for the room is $445 + utilities (which usually average around $100) per month. The room is fairly large, with enough space for a large bed, a desk, a dresser, and other furniture, and has lots of closet space. The house has 3 other bedrooms, a large kitchen, 2 bathrooms (you will share one with 2 other residents), 2 spacious "hang out" rooms, a finished basement, a porch, and a washer and dryer. Parking on the street is free and easily available. Campus is a 10-20 minute walk away depending on where you're trying to go and there are several bus lines nearby. Downtown is less than a 10 minute walk away. No pets are allowed unfortunately. Currently myself and 3 male IU students live at this location. We are ideally looking for an IU student trying to replace me for the spring semester, although move in dates are negotiable and you DON'T have to be an IU student to live here. The guys who you will be living with like to have fun but also take their work seriously. They are not prone to having large social events. The house is usually pretty quiet, so if you like to work hard you can easily do so. The house is usually somewhat clean, and the guys make sure to tidy things up completely 1-2 times a week. A male roommate would be preferred but females are welcome.
