Trading Post Manager ? Job Description
Position open for a part-time worker at Sagamore Council Boy Scouts in their Trading Post. Duties include serving customers, ordering supplies, answering the phone and emails, filling orders, and packaging.
Tasks:
1. Answer telephone and direct calls as appropriate, meet the public, and answer inquiries.
2. Become familiar with Boy Scout ranks, badges, and awards.
3. Order supplies as needed from National BSA and other suppliers.
4. Print labels and keep inventory organized.
5. Maintain relationships with National supply representatives.
6. Perform periodic and year-end count of inventory.
7. Complete other duties as assigned.
Employment Standards:
? High school degree. Typing and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
? Previous office skills and experience preferred.
? Good verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to occasionally lift and carry small and medium size boxes.
? Good interpersonal skills.
? Rate is $9.00 per hour.
? 20 hours per week.
