Milo is crate trained, 61 lbs, very ball driven, and must go to a home with kids over 13 because of his strength. Milo is fully trained, by one of Indiana's best! You will not find a better behaved best friend out there.
Be warned! Milo may be well behaved, but this boy steals hearts!!! He is a very handsome, 3 yr old Pittie mix.
All this sweet boy needs is a warm bed, lots of love, a bucket of balls, and a best friend to play with.

There are times when we have over $xxxx invested in an animal before it can be put up for adoption. We work hard to keep our fees as low as possible. Pals for Paws does not profit in any way. Every penny goes directly back into the care of our homeless animals. All of our rescue animals are fully vetted:

* Heart-worm checked and on prevention
Most rescue/adoption fees, whether from a rescue organization, or an animal shelter, range from $75.00 to several hundred dollars. You may ask,? Why so much money? Who would pay that kind of money for a dog nobody seems to want anyway?? A lot of caring people, that?s who. :) Although the adoption fee is one way we regain a small portion of the cost of caring for our rescued animals, it also serves one other function. The adoption fee will put off anybody who is not willing to spend money on properly caring for his or her animal companion. If someone is not willing to pay an adoption/rescue fee to bring home a loving companion, then it is more than likely that they won't spend it when it is really needed for treatment at the veterinarians office either. It is a harsh world out there for rescue animals, and making sure the animals go to a good, responsible home that will care for them for the rest of their life is the number one concern of our rescue and rescue volunteers. So when you think of it that way, is your future family members adoption fee really that much? Saving a rescue animal and giving them a loving, forever home is priceless. ? Also, Pals for Paws is a 501(c)3 not-for- profit organization so your adoption fee is completely tax deductible.

We are a rescue not a shelter; we do not receive any type of government funding. We are a 100% volunteer organization; no one in our group, not even the founder/president gets paid for all of their hard work. We are truly a VOLUNTEER run shelter. Sometimes we even need to put our own money into helping the pets. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us help homeless pets. We get no funding so our pets that are more adoptable help us to help those that are not as adoptable or are very sick. We are a no kill rescue. We do not euthanize because a pet is sick, heart-worm positive, or has a broken leg; we fix it all, big and small. We have the huge medical bills to prove it. We only put a pet down when there is no other option and it is suffering or too aggressive to help!! Please do not ask us to give you a discount. Our pets are fully vetted and we believe that you are already getting a discount
